Lampang residents get ready to celebrate! The Ministry of Commerce, in collaboration with the Department of Intellectual Property, is accelerating support for "Lampang Chicken Bowls," a long-standing local product that has been registered as a Geographical Indication (GI) product, to prepare for the challenges of today's market.
GI operators of Lampang Chicken Bowls will receive support under this project to improve product quality and branding, enabling them to compete domestically and internationally. This support includes protecting the name "Lampang Chicken Bowls" against potential violations of geographical indications, with penalties of up to 200,000 baht.
This is another significant step towards making "Lampang Chicken Bowls" a global product, bringing pride to the people of Lampang and Thailand, and fully preparing to compete in the international market!
