Thailand and Cambodia have signed a conditional ceasefire agreement, marking a step toward de-escalation.
Thailand’s Minister of Defence Nattaphon Narkphanit and Cambodia’s Minister of National Defence Tea Seiha arrived at the venue for the signing ceremony. Media representatives were briefly permitted to capture images before the signing.
The two ministers signed the conditional ceasefire agreement in the presence of both delegations. The process proceeded smoothly and in an orderly manner.
After the signing, the Cambodian delegation departed immediately through the permanent border crossing at Ban Prum, Pailin Province.
