ANNOUNCEMENT FROM THE ROYAL HOUSEHOLD BUREAU
Subject: Funeral Bathing Ceremony and the Paying of Respects to the Royal Remains of Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendiradebyavati Kromluangrajasarinisiribajra Mahavajrarajadhita
 
The Bureau of the Royal Household has received His Majesty the King’s gracious royal permission regarding public participation in the funeral bathing ceremony and the paying of respects to the royal remains of Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendiradebyavati Kromluangrajasarinisiribajra Mahavajrarajadhita, as follows:
 
1. His Majesty the King has graciously granted permission for members of the public to participate in the funeral bathing ceremony for Her Royal Highness before the royal portrait installed at Sahathai Samakhom Pavilion within the Grand Palace.
The ceremony will take place on Saturday, 13th June 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
2. His Majesty the King has graciously granted permission for members of the public to pay their respects before the royal portrait at Sahathai Samakhom Pavilion within the Grand Palace daily from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., beginning on Sunday, 14th June 2026.
A condolence book will also be provided at the venue for members of the public to sign and express their condolences.
3. His Majesty the King has graciously granted permission for members of the public to pay their respects to the royal remains at Biman Rataya Pavilion following the completion of the fifteen-day royal merit-making ceremonies.
Public visitation will be permitted daily from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., beginning on Saturday, 27th June 2026.
4. His Majesty the King has graciously granted permission for members of the Royal Family, royal lineage families, the Privy Council, the Cabinet, organizations and groups, government agencies, state enterprises, private-sector entities, and members of the public to serve as hosts for merit-making ceremonies and the chanting of Abhidhamma funeral rites for the royal remains following the completion of the one-hundred-day royal merit-making period.
