Transport Co., Ltd. (BorKorSor) has launched its New Year "Go Early, Return Later" promotion, offering a 20% discount on bus fares to help reduce holiday travel expenses. Deputy Transport Minister Mallika Jirapunvanit said the initiative aligns with the ministry's New Year 2026 campaign to enhance convenience and ensure safe journeys for the public.
The 20% discount is available exclusively for tickets purchased through BorKorSor's online channels — the E-Ticket website and its social booking platforms on Facebook and Line. The offer applies to outbound trips from 22–25 December 2025 and return trips from 6–8 January 2026.
BorKorSor is also providing free vehicle safety checks throughout December at its Rangsit Maintenance and Inspection Center, covering 20 key inspection items for cars and motorcycles to support safer New Year travel.
During the peak period from 26 December 2025 to 5 January 2026, the company expects up to 180,000 passengers per day and will deploy additional buses to prevent congestion and ensure no passengers are left behind. For northern and northeastern routes departing after 18:00 from 26–30 December, passengers must board at Krung Thep Aphiwat Central Terminal, Gate 2. BorKorSor has also coordinated with relevant agencies to enhance safety and ensure smooth travel from origin to destination, ensuring the well-being of staff, buses, partner operators, and passengers throughout the New Year holiday.
