The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Chulalongkorn University Jointly Promote Thai-Vietnamese Cooperation under the 3-Connects Strategy.

Thailand and Vietnam are strengthening their already robust relationship as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs collaborates with the Mekong Studies Center at Chulalongkorn University to host a forum advancing bilateral cooperation under the Three Connects strategy. This strategic framework aims to foster economic and trade relations between the two nations.

The forum brought together experts from various sectors—public, private, and academic—to exchange views and strategic insights for implementing the Three Connects framework. Key topics included supply chain integration, local economic connectivity, and sustainable development strategy alignment.

Private sector representative Mr. Sanan Angubolkul, Chairman of the Thai Chamber of Commerce, shared his perspectives on enhancing the supply chain linkage between the two countries, benefiting market expansion and competitiveness for businesses on both sides.

Additionally, Dr. Rak Vorrakitpokatorn, President of the Export-Import Bank of Thailand, presented views on aligning Thailand's policies in bio-economy, circular economy, and green economy with Vietnam's green growth strategy, another vital aspect of advancing bilateral cooperation.

This forum represents a significant step towards concretizing Thai-Vietnamese cooperation, with long-term benefits expected for the economic and social development of both nations.
