Phetchaburi Showcases “Three Flavors City” Identity Through UNESCO Creative Cities Thailand Event

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is promoting creative tourism and local cultural identity through the “UNESCO Creative Cities Thailand @PHETCHABURI” event, highlighting Phetchaburi Province as a destination rich in culinary heritage and innovation. The initiative aims to strengthen the province’s global profile as a UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy while offering visitors immersive tourism experiences centered on food, culture, and community engagement.

The event introduces visitors to Phetchaburi’s renowned “Three Flavors City” identity — representing sweet, salty, and sour local ingredients that reflect the province’s culinary wisdom and traditions. Activities include live music performances, cooking demonstrations by local chefs, food competitions, local food and beverage markets, exhibitions on UNESCO Creative Cities concepts, and hands-on workshops transforming regional ingredients into creative products and souvenirs.

The program also emphasizes sustainable tourism development by creating opportunities for local communities, entrepreneurs, and younger generations to participate in tourism promotion. Organizers expect the initiative to strengthen economic growth, preserve cultural heritage, and reinforce Phetchaburi’s status as a world-class destination for food lovers and cultural travelers.
