Researchers from Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (RMUTT) have succeeded in developing the "Black Chin Climbing Perch Bone" into an effective health supplement. The research team, from the Faculty of Integrative Medicine, collaborated with other researchers to extract calcium from Black Chin Climbing Perch bones, which helps strengthen bones and teeth while also addressing environmental issues by reducing the population of the invasive fish that disrupts aquatic ecosystems.
The calcium extraction process from Black Chin Climbing Perch bones has been meticulously developed to retain all its nutritional value, resulting in a highly pure, easily absorbed, and more effective calcium source compared to others. This product not only addresses bone and dental health issues but also helps conserve natural resources in an efficient and sustainable manner.
This project not only enhances consumer health but also provides a sustainable environmental solution, aligning with sustainable development and the efficient use of resources. The product is currently undergoing patent registration for future production and sales.
