History Made! Thai Teen Nene Royal Crowned America's Got Talent 2026 Winner

Congratulations to Nene Royal, the 16-year-old singer and guitarist from Phuket, on winning America's Got Talent (AGT) Season 21!

She is the first Thai winner in the show's history, taking the title and the US$1 million (approximately THB32.7 million) grand prize after winning over millions of American viewers.

Her story is a beautiful one. Nene taught herself to play guitar at just seven years old and built a global following with her powerful voice and fiery rock performances. On the AGT stage, she went from her audition with "Zombie" to a Golden Buzzer for "Black Hole Sun," and she closed the finale with a show-stopping "Seven Nation Army." The judges were on their feet again and again, and one called her unlike anyone else performing today.

What makes this win special is that Nene carried her Thai identity with confidence onto one of the world's biggest stages. She showed that talent, hard work, and determination can come from anywhere, including a young girl from Phuket with a guitar and a big dream.
