Government Launches Flood Relief Bus Route: Victory Monument–Rangsit

The Ministry of Transport has introduced a special bus service connecting Victory Monument and Rangsit since the evening of 26 September, aimed at supporting residents affected by ongoing flooding and providing additional travel options across the city.

The Bangkok Mass Transit Authority (BMTA) is now running the special route in both directions:

● Outbound (Victory Monument → Rangsit): Saphan Khwai → Chatuchak BTS Station → Wat Samian Nari → Don Mueang Railway Station → Rangsit Bus Depot

● Inbound (Rangsit → Victory Monument): Rangsit Bus Depot → Don Mueang Railway Station → Wat Samian Nari → Chatuchak BTS Station → Saphan Khwai → Victory Monument

Beyond transport support, the Ministry also delivered food supplies to the Chatuchak District Office, to be distributed to temporary shelters housing residents evacuated from flooded homes.

The Ministry of Transport and its affiliated agencies say they will continue monitoring the situation closely, adjusting bus services and relief efforts as needed to help residents travel safely and minimize disruption during the flooding.
