Great news for Thailand’s logistics industry! Airport of Thailand Ground Aviation Services Company Limited (AOTGA), in collaboration with the Customs Department, has launched the "Customs Service Center for Goods Distribution" or "Multimodal Center" at Suvarnabhumi Airport. This is Thailand's first fully integrated transport hub, aimed at elevating the country's logistics sector to become a major Aviation Hub in the region.
This Multimodal Center is unique in that it combines all modes of transport, whether by land, rail, water, or air, and offers fast and convenient customs clearance procedures. This ensures seamless and more efficient cargo transport. Additionally, it provides service space for major logistics operators like FedEx, DHL, and AGS.
The launch of the Multimodal Center marks a significant step in developing Thailand's transportation infrastructure. It will enhance trade, investment, and economic growth, particularly in the rapidly growing e-commerce industry.
Furthermore, AOTGA plans to expand its investments into other aviation-related businesses, such as parking and ground equipment services, as well as warehouse services, to accommodate the future growth of the aviation industry.
