The GFT 2023, the pinnacle of the garment and textile manufacturing industry covering ASEAN, was held from June 21st to 24th, 2023, from 10:00 to 18:00 at the BITEC Exhibition and Convention Center in Bang Na.
This event served as the ultimate hub of technology and services related to garment and textile production. It gathered machinery for garment manufacturers in the fashion industry, and extended to other sectors such as manufacturing of fertilizer bags for the agriculture industry, car seat covers for the automotive industry, interior decorations from the textile and furniture industry, and much more to offer possibilities to entrepreneurs.
Participants had the opportunity to meet more than 15,000 manufacturers, designers, and fashion startups. They also explored various production technologies, including cutting, sewing, printing, embroidery, special textiles, and manufacturing services from 150 brands. The event also featured numerous seminars and special activities, where attendees shared their experiences and successes.
The technology of garment and textile manufacturing is considered one of the crucial industries contributing to Thailand's economy in terms of employment, exports, and industry value-added. Despite the impacts of the COVID-19 situation, this industry has shown a quick recovery.
