- Inviting ceremony for the Buddha statue in Wiang Jiang Hai and offering alms to monks on New Year's Day is held on 1 January 2023 at Thanalai Road, Wiang Subdistrict, Mueang Chiang Rai District, Chiang Rai Province. 

- Kwan Phayao River of Life, Than Khao Thip Phrachao Ton Luang, is held on 5-6 January 2023 at Wat Tilok Aram and Wat Si Khom Kham, Phayao Province. 

- The third Khao Eto Trail is held 7-8 January 2023 at the Khao Ito Waterfall Recreational Forest, Urban Forest, Prachin Buri District, Prachin Buri Province.

- The third Bueng Bua Sam Roi Yod Run #BuengbuaSamroiyodRun2023 is held on 22 January 2023 from 5:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Bueng Bua SalaLai, Sam Roi Yot District, Prachuap Khiri Khan 77180.

- Yo Yod Ying Fa, Ayutthaya World Heritage 2022, is held between 20 and 29 January 2023, starting from 5:00 a.m. and ending at 10:00 p.m., Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya.

• The festival "Unfolding Bangkok" under the theme of “Greeting Benjakitti,” visit a forest park in the middle of the city, is held between 28 January and 26 February 2023
