Foreign property ownership in Thailand: Processing time

Foreign property holdings are conducted in the same form as that of Thai natural persons and Thai juristic persons.

In the case of natural persons, those who are related to him or her will be the holders instead.  In the case of holding by a juristic person, it will be held by registering a company establishment and foreigners hold 49% of the shares. The other 51% is owned by Thai nationals or Thai juristic persons.

When foreigners and related persons have prepared the documents and studied the procedures, they may need to the time it will take to process, as well, because the time for taking ownership of a condominium unit takes 150 minutes, excluding the process time to contact the public relations officer to check various evidence documents and receive queue cards in the order of first-come-first-served.
