San Kamphaeng Hot Springs was originally an area of San Kamphaeng District, therefore named by using the name of the district, but later there was a change in the administrative area causing this place to become in Mae On instead, but still using the original name.
This San Kamphaeng hot springs has 2 springs rising about 20 meters high with the temperature higher than 100 degrees Celsius. Therefore, tourists like to bring eggs to boil in the pond, while the ponds used for soaking are separated into another zone which there are both lap bathing and soak bathing.
Activities that tourists prefer are soaking their feet in the mineral water stream, taking a mineral bath, soaking in hot water, boiling onsen eggs, watching the hot springs, enjoying the view, and watching flowers. The flowers are beautifully planted in the San Kamphaeng Hot Springs area. There are also kiosks selling products, drinks and chic photo corners, chilling, Thai massage, including room zones. The camping ground serves tourists who want to stay overnight as well. Which tourists will be able to indulge in beautiful places in the midst of nature, mountains and definitely good for health.
People believed soaking in hot springs have many health benefits, such as maintaining the electrolyte balance in the cells, prevents skin from acne and helps in treating some skin diseases, nourishing the skin, glowing skin, slowing down aging, treating skin diseases and helping the body relax, relief from headaches, tight lines, locked fingers.
Traveling route, San Kamphaeng Hot Springs is located 36 kilometers from the city of Chiang Mai, taking approximately 30 minutes to travel along Highway No. 1317 (Chiang Mai - Mae On Road).
