Procedures and channels for applying for permission to shoot foreign films in national parks in the case of filming several days

     The procedures, duration, and channels for applying for permission to shoot foreign films or other works in national parks, in the case of filming several days, are as follows:

  1. The applicant shall notify their intention to apply for filming permission, and the officer issues a receipt confirmation form; 

  2. The officer examines the completeness and accuracy of all documents and evidence and signs to register the application when the documents are complete and correct;

  3. The filming content and format must not be contrary to the Thailand National Parks Act, B.E. 2562 (2019) and other related legislations, which forbid damaging natural resources and the environment, as well as not being contrary to good morals (1 working day);

  4. The permit is prepared and proposed to the authorized person (1 working day);

  5. The Director-General or the person assigned by the Director-General signs the permit for approval, according to the committee resolution (2 working days).

    All procedures are implemented under the Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation.
