Adventure Tourism: Hiking along Halaza Waterfall in Yala

     Yala is in the part of the country furthest to the south, and its breathtaking nature is worth the trip; its slogan is "The southern end of Siam, a beautiful town." If you love adventure, don't miss a chance to hike along Halaza Waterfall. 

     Halaza Waterfall is located near Bang Lang National Park Protection Unit. The falls are about 100 meters high, and there is the Hala-Bala Forest nature trail – a wet, fertile rainforest and an important water feature. The trail starts from Julaporn Pattana 9 Village, which is surrounded by forests and mountains and thought of as a gate to Hala-Bala Forest in Mae Wad Subdistrict, Tarn To District.

     The trail is approximately 3 kilometers long and not difficult to walk on; however, you still need a local who will take care of you and tell you about the forest. You will get to see a lot of trees in a variety of sizes and species, as well as countless small animals.

     When you arrive at Halaza Waterfall, you will feel better after your long walk just by looking at it, but you will definitely feel even fresher if you take a dip in the water.
