Procedure to Apply for a License to Recruit Workers for Overseas Employment - Case of Submission at the Local Employment Office where the Applicant has Established Office (Foreign Employment License)

The procedure to apply for a license to recruit workers for overseas employment when the application is submitted at the local employment office where the applicant's office is established (Foreign Employment License) consists of the following steps and timelines:

  1. Document Verification
    Details: The applicant submits the application along with the documents / The officer checks the completeness and correctness of the documents
    Duration: 1 business day
  2. Location Inspection
    Details: The officer inspects the location of the applicant's office
    Duration: 7 business days
  3. Document Review
    Details: Collect evidence / inspection results / Propose opinions to the Registrar who receives the application / The Registrar who receives the application gives opinion to the Central Registrar
    Duration: 3 business days
  4. Individual/Organization Qualification Check
    Details: Send documents by mail to the Central Registrar
    Duration: 7 business days
  5. Individual/Organization Qualification Check
    Details: The officer checks the information and sends a letter to the related agencies for qualification, history / behavior check of the applicant and confirm guarantee contract (in case the guarantee is a bank guarantee contract)
    Duration: 2 business days
  6. Individual/Organization Qualification Check
    Details: The relevant agencies check the qualification, history, behavior of the applicant (Central Employment Registrar and Job Protection, Legal Department) and confirm guarantee contract (Bank)
    Duration: 20 business days
  7. Document Review
    Details: Check the information / Propose opinions for Central Registrar's consideration
    Duration: 10 business days
  8. Signing / Committee Resolution
    Details: The Central Registrar considers / signs the license and sends the license / rejection documents to the Registrar who received the application to notify the applicant
    Duration: 2 business days
  9. Service Recipient Pays the Fee / Receives the License

Note: The licensee must sign the license in front of the officer

The fee to apply for a license to recruit workers for overseas employment when the application is submitted at the local employment office where the applicant's office is established (Foreign Employment License) is as follows:

  1. Application fee: 10.00 THB
  2. License fee: 10,000.00 THB per copy, with a validity of 2 years
