The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) collaborates with the medical device manufacturing industry group and the Federation of Thai Industries to support the transition of the automotive parts and components industry, which has been affected by the import of electric vehicles and alternative energy into the medical device manufacturing industry. This is done through close guidance and consultation. The goal is to reduce imports and create competitive medical device innovations at the regional level while promoting the commercialization of medical innovations, ensuring a comprehensive medical industry in the country and boosting the national economy.
