Thailand’s leading real estate developer, Asset World Corporation (AWC), has partnered with Universal Pictures to bring “Jurassic World: The Experience” to Bangkok. This groundbreaking attraction will debut at Asiatique The Riverfront, marking the first of its kind in Southeast Asia.
With an investment of 1.2 billion baht (approximately $35.6 million), the project will feature life-sized animatronic dinosaurs powered by cutting-edge 3D and AI technology. Visitors will be transported into a vividly recreated prehistoric world, offering an experience as close as possible to encountering dinosaurs in real life.
This initiative not only underscores Thailand’s position as a hub for ASEAN tourism but also aims to boost the nation’s economy. In 2023, international tourists generated over 1.67 trillion baht in revenue, and this attraction is set to build on that success by enhancing the country’s tourism infrastructure with world-class digital technology, large-scale events, and premium services.
The project highlights Thailand’s readiness to become a “quality tourism hub” by blending cultural heritage with advanced entertainment technology. It is expected to elevate the nation’s global profile and attract visitors from around the world.
