Advancements in healthcare technology continue to accelerate, aiming to expand the number of Centers of Excellence (CoEs) from 15 to 21 by this year and next. These centers support advanced services such as robotic-assisted surgery, telemedicine, artificial intelligence (AI), precision medicine, and genomics.
Four new CoEs will be established in emergency medicine, sports medicine, nephrology, and sexual health. Plans are in place to ensure public access to these services. Hospitals under the system, including Rajavithi Hospital and Lerdsin Hospital, have been upgraded to manage specialized patients and provide comprehensive care in these new fields—particularly sexual health, one of the recently added CoEs.

The focus is on developing both tools and personnel to be ready for the use of modern technology, while also ensuring data security and reducing inequality in access to medical services in the future.
