“The More You Travel, The More You Care” Promotes Conservation Tourism, Inviting Foreigners to Experience Eco-Friendly Thailand Under the Concept of Amazing Thailand: Your Stories Never End

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is moving forward to support conservation tourism through the project “The One for Nature,” now in its third edition, under the concept “The More You Travel, The More You Care” (Leave No Trace Behind). This initiative invites international friends to experience eco-friendly tourism in Thailand, emphasizing sustainable travel experiences through both online and offline activities. These include CSR activities and promotional booths that enhance awareness of responsible tourism, targeting the younger generation, particularly Gen S - Gen Sustainability, to visit Thailand in an eco-friendly style, creating endless positive stories.

As it enters its third year, the project reinforces the main idea of promoting sustainable tourism by inviting tourists to connect with nature and local lifestyles in Thailand, creating stories of “Your Green Side” that are worth sharing endlessly. Participants can engage in an online campaign on the website www.tourismthailand.org/theonefornature by designing e-postcards and sharing them on social media with the hashtags #AmazingThailand and #TheOneForNature for a chance to win conservation tourism packages in Phang Nga and Phuket, including a 3-day, 2-night stay. The campaign runs from today until September 15, 2024, with winners announced on September 17, 2024. Participants are also encouraged to join ground activities such as seagrass planting on Koh Tan, Surat Thani, organized in collaboration with relevant agencies and associations to restore nature and create balance in marine ecosystems. Additionally, there will be activity booths in various locations such as Icon Siam in Bangkok, Tha Pae Walking Street in Chiang Mai, and Ao Nang in Krabi, inviting international friends to join in and experience conservation tourism in Thailand together.

The third edition of The One for Nature project, “The More You Travel, The More You Care,” by TAT is another approach to promote conservation tourism by raising awareness and responsibility towards the environment among international tourists, while enhancing Thailand's image as a sustainable, quality travel destination.
