Students from Thammasat University have once again brought international
recognition to Thailand after securing the world championship title at OpsSimCom 2026, a global business simulation competition organized by the MIT Sloan School of Management. This marks the fifth consecutive victory for students from the MBA program at Thammasat Business School (TBS).
The winning team, “Dracarys,” consisted of MBA students who demonstrated
exceptional capabilities in operations management and supply chain strategy. The competition challenged participants to manage complex business systems in real time, including production, pricing, cost optimization, and supply chain decisions under pressure. Team members explained that despite not being top performers during practice sessions, they remained determined and focused throughout the competition.
According to the students, teamwork and collaborative decision-making were the keys to success. They applied the “Four Eyes Principle,” ensuring multiple team members reviewed important decisions during the intense 48-hour competition. The students also credited TBS for strengthening both their business knowledge and soft skills, particularly teamwork, communication, and confidence. The victory further reinforces Thammasat University’s reputation for producing globally competitive business professionals.
