SEA & STARS Night Aquarium

SEA & STARS Night Aquarium brings together “light, color, sound,” and “immersive art” for the first time in Chiang Mai, transforming the underwater world into a full nighttime experience unlike anything previously seen at Chiang Mai Zoo.

This winter, the zoo reimagines its aquarium and outdoor gardens as a new nighttime landmark, featuring three main zones designed to create a deep-sea atmosphere:

Ocean Mapping
Experience the underwater world through projection mapping that brings the aquarium walls to life. Schools of fish and coral move in harmony with the light, creating the feeling of descending into the ocean.

Jelly Fish Dome
Walk across a glowing bridge adorned with floating jellyfish that drift gently in illuminated colors, as if stepping into an underwater dimension.

Garden Star Picnic
An open-air garden covered in starlike lights and soft music, offering a peaceful space to unwind and enjoy Chiang Mai’s winter nights.
