Music and Night at the Museum #4 Shining Songkhla
The beloved cultural celebration returns, bigger and more immersive than ever. The Songkhla National Museum, in collaboration with its partners, invites you to the 4th edition of Music and Night at the Museum under the theme "Shining Songkhla – A Starry Night."
Enjoy four nights of music, art, and heritage on 25–26 July and 1–2 August 2025, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Admission is free unless otherwise noted. Experience the museum after dark, with live music, creative markets, stargazing, workshops, and curated cultural programs.
- Shining Market: Browse a vibrant selection of creative goods, handmade crafts, and join art-inspired workshops tailored for the creatively inclined.
- Starlight: Relax and enjoy performances by talented young musicians from Songkhla beneath the starry sky.
- Highlight: A special mini-concert by guncharlie, a rising singer-songwriter known for heartfelt songs such as เผื่อวันไหนเธอจะกลับมา and กลับไปใช้ชีวิตแบบเดิม, will take place on 2 August 2025.
- Star Party: An evening of stargazing and storytelling featuring exhibits from the museum. Take photos with large-scale moon and Jupiter balloon installations, and join the Stellar Light Box workshop led by the Songkhla Regional Observatory.
- Museum Tour – A Multisensory Historical Journey
- Discover the Songkhla National Museum through an experience that combines sight, sound, scent, and taste.
- Enjoy a Site-Specific Dance performance, "The Radiance of Songkhla", portraying the city's golden age over a century ago, presented by Thaksin University’s Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts.
- Explore “Scent of Songkhla”, a scent-based installation by SAN Original Scent Store.
- Sample dishes inspired by Songkhla’s history, created by the Tourism Authority of Thailand, Hat Yai Office.
