Bangkok Kicks Off "MRKREME: The Furryways" Asia Tour

Bangkok has been chosen as the first stop of the "MRKREME: The Furryways" Asia Tour, a new immersive art exhibition by Thai–Hong Kong contemporary artist MRKREME, presented in collaboration with ARTXP. The exhibition makes its world premiere at Parc Paragon, Siam Paragon, and will be open to the public free of charge from July 4–19 before touring major cities across Asia.

Unlike traditional art exhibitions, "The Furryways" is designed as a multi-sensory art experience, inviting visitors to interact with giant furry monster characters through touch, play, photography, and immersive installations. Inspired by urban transportation systems, the exhibition transforms the venue into a whimsical underground metro world featuring popular characters including Mushkin, Rosado, Corkin, Gally, and Odey.

The exhibition features six interactive zones, ranging from game and play areas to immersive photo installations and an art gallery showcasing MRKREME's creative journey. Visitors can also explore exclusive merchandise inspired by the artist's signature furry monster universe.

Supported by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), the exhibition highlights Thailand's growing creative economy and soft power by promoting contemporary art as a new tourism experience. Following its Bangkok debut, "MRKREME: The Furryways" Asia Tour will continue to Seoul, Hong Kong, Jakarta, Tokyo, and Taipei later this year.
