The "AMAZING DARK SKY IN THAILAND" project, Now in Its Third Season, Introduces 18 New stargazing locations across Thailand.

This initiative aims to provide tourists with an intimate experience of the beautiful night sky at designated areas recognized as dark sky reserves, promoting astronomical tourism and creating memorable travel experiences.

Dark Sky Parks (6 Locations):

Ban Wat Chan Forest Park, Chiang Mai,Tham Pla - Pha Suea National Park, Mae Hong Son,Tat Ton National Park, Chaiyaphum,Phu Phai Yai National Park, Sakon Nakhon,Phu Wiang National Park, Khon Kaen.

Dark Sky Community (1 Location):

Makut Kiriwan Temple, Khao Yai, Nakhon Ratchasima

Dark Sky Properties (10 Locations):

Cha Geu Por and Phrao Camping, Chiang Mai,Hom Lom Joy, Chiang Rai,Phawana Niwet Camp, Nakhon Sawan,Phu Kham Hom, Khao Yai,Phailin Star Viewing Garden and Unfa In Star Camping, Nakhon Ratchasima,Soneva Kiri Hotel, Trat,Bo Saen Villa & Spa, Phang Nga,Ahti Garden Camping, Phang Nga

Dark Sky Suburb (1 Location):

Khao Kheow Open Zoo, Chonburi

In addition to the breathtaking night sky experiences at these stargazing sites across Thailand, the project enriches tourism with astronomical knowledge and connects visitors to nearby attractions, promoting income distribution and enhancing local economic development in line with government policies.
