Tourism Calendar - Bangkok Gems & Jewelry Fair 2023 (BGJF 2023)

     The 68th edition of the Bangkok Gems & Jewelry Fair 2023 is scheduled to be held from September 6-10, 2023 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center. With its prime location in the heart of Bangkok and its convenient access, it provides ease for both exhibitors and visitors.

     The inception of the Thailand Gems and Jewelry Fair originated from a collaborative effort between the Thai Gem and Jewelry Traders Association and the Gem and Jewelry and Precious Metal Confederation of Thailand. These organizations aim to propel Thailand as a global hub for the gem and jewelry trade. Today, Thailand has been recognized worldwide as a leading source of colored gemstones, and therefore, both associations strive to elevate Thai gems as a new soft power, expanding its popularity among tourists and the general public at an international level.

     Previous editions of the fair have been met with excellent reception. The number of attendees surpassed 16,919, a staggering 82.08% increase from the previous fair. Furthermore, there were over 2,004 exhibition booths, and the total trade volume reached an impressive value of 3,000 million Baht.
