Koh Lanta.

Koh Lanta is a large island with a community that has been inhabited for more than a hundred years. It is an island full of unspoilt nature.  It is located on the Andaman Sea between the Krabi Sea and the Trang Sea and is a famous island among foreign tourists.

The center of prosperity and the center of tourism business is at Koh Lanta Yai, where the Koh Lanta District Office is located. There is a tourist pier that takes tourists to various places in the Andaman Sea, including Phi Phi Island, Phuket Island, Trang Sea, Rok Island, and Hin Muang-Hin Daeng diving sites.

  

Koh Lanta offers both adventure and ecotourism tourism activities. 

1. Lanta Old Town The main attraction of Koh Lanta is an ancient community that has existed since the Chinese junk era, over a hundred years old. It is an ancient wooden house and on the sea side is a restaurant that protrudes into the sea. 

2. Ban Thungyeepeng is a community with a homestay to serve tourists. The highlight for traveling here is taking a ride on an ancient gondola and having a meal with the locals. It is a location to learn about nature, there is a walkway that leads through the mangrove forest, and you can rent a kayak or long-tailed boat to explore Ban Thung Yee Peng’s surroundings and witness the local monkey population.

3. Lam Tanote has a lot of palmary trees. There is a beautiful sandy beach behind the island and near the white lighthouse is another spot to watch the beautiful sunset. There are also hiking trails to study nature.

4. Khao Mai Kaew Cave is a large cave. There are stalactites and stalagmites and climbing adventure spots along the rock crevices. Inside, there are Phet Caves, Badan Caves, Umong Caves and Nam Lod Caves for visitors to experience different nature as well. It is considered another point that adventurous tourists should not miss.

5. Snorkeling Koh Lanta is suitable for both experienced divers and those who have never experienced diving before can learn to dive from here. Koh Lanta dive sites are located on the shores of the Andaman Sea, which has the advantage of being islands and gorges under water. It is a habitat for all kinds of soft corals and the local dive site of Ko Lanta is located far from the mainland, so it is not disturbed much, there is an abundance of corals and aquatic animals of all sizes and sizes.
