Another historical tourist attraction of Thailand. which was raised as a cultural and natural world heritage site are Sukhothai Historical Park and Si Satchanalai Historical Park. Located on the north of Thailand by the two historical parks. located in Sukhothai Province 


Sukhothai Historical Park, Muang District, Sukhothai Province, 217 ancient sites were found. The Fine Arts Department has realized the value and importance of Sukhothai Ancient City. Therefore, ancient monuments have been registered to protect the area as a national heritage and to prevent the invasion which is destruction of the environment and atmosphere of the city Therefore, the registration of the boundary of the area was announced covering all ancient sites of 43,750 rai or about 70 square kilometers. Important archaeological sites are Wat Mahathat, Wat Si Sawai, Wat Si Chum, Wat Phra Phai Luang, Wat Chang Lom, Wat Chetuphon, Wat Chedi Si Hong, Wat Chedi Sung and San Ta Pha Daeng.

Important ancient sites in the city wall, such as Wat Chang Lom, Wat Chedi Chet Thaeo, Wat Nang Phaya, and ancient sites outside the city wall, such as Wat Phra. Sri Rattana Mahathat Chaliang, Chom Chuen Temple, Chao Chan Temple, Phaya Dam Temple, Sra Pathum Temple In addition, there are ancient monuments located on the hill such as Chedi Kao Yod Temple, Chedi Aen Temple, Khao Yai Lang Temple, and Wat Khao Yai Bon.

Sukhothai used to flourish between the 19th and 21st Buddhist centuries, with stone inscriptions and archaeological sites discovered. There is also evidence of people who have settled since prehistoric times. and found the cultural basis of Dvaravati with the discovery of ancient artifacts that look similar, including discovery of beads iron tools, bronze, silver coins with the image of the sun Including human skeletons found together with patterned clay rods at Wat Chom Chuen in the old city of Si Satchanalai.
