Health promotion tourism.

The Global Health promotion Institute predicts that after the COVID-19 situation has been resolved or regulated, Health promotion tourism will return to exponential growth over the next few years, with an average annual growth of 20.9% and a value up to trillion in the year 2024. As many nations around the world enter an aging society, the spread of COVID-19 is causing people to turn more interested in Health promotion tourism. 
In order to further develop Thailand as a destination for health tourism and generate economic value, the Department of Tourism has launched the 2023 creative Health promotion tourism route activity "DOT Connect to Healthy Route 2023" to raise the quality and standards of entrepreneurs, and communities by dividing Health promotion tourism route into five routes as follow
- Food balance route
- Fit & Firm route
- Natural healing route
- Health promotion & Spa route
- Healthy herbal route

By utilizing the medical prowess that has received international recognition for its efforts in containing the spread of COVID-19, of public health in Thailand, it will be possible to draw in high-quality tourists and boost Thailand's position as a Health promotion tourism destination in the future.
