The relative cost of living in Thailand

        Thailand has a low cost of living, in comparison with many countries, but the people have a good quality of life. 

        The monthly cost per person is approximately $742, 65% lower than the US, which is $2,112. In the rankings of the most expensive countries in the world to live in, Thailand was ranked 112, while the United States was ranked sixth.

        In Thailand, not only is the overall cost of living is low, but local Thai products are not expensive, either. Many items are reasonably priced, such as food, accommodation, utilities, fuel, and late-night street food. There are also a lot of convenience stores. 

        In addition, Thailand produces a great variety of food products, as it is a large agricultural country, resulting in affordable prices for food. Foreigners living or traveling in Thailand can live a good life without a high salary base or high pension.
