Types of manual labor that foreigners can be hired for, and the average wages

       Currently, there are many foreign workers in Thailand working legally, especially after the unlocking of occupations that were previously reserved only for Thai people, resulting in foreign workers having more opportunities and ways to make a living, according to their aptitudes and abilities.

       Importantly, there are some types of jobs that many Thai people prefer not to do, which makes foreign workers so much in demand in the labor market.  When considering compensation or wages, the Wage Committee resolved and announced wage rates according to skill standards (No. 11) in January 2022 and found that 10 manual labor occupations with a high rate of wages are as follows:

- Construction worker in computer construction drawing (645 baht per day);

- Construction and installation of lightweight concrete (475-575 baht per day);

- Plasterer (425-670 baht per day);

- Carpenter (425-670 baht per day);

- Building paint technician (65-600 baht per day);

- Gypsum installer (450-595 baht per day);
