          "Columbia Pictures Aquaverse" is the world's first theme park and aquarium project of Sony Pictures Entertainment Company, a world-class film producer collaborating with Amazon Foss Co., Ltd., Thailand, the Aquaverse is located at Bang Saray Municipality, Sattahip District, Chonburi Province, a 200-rai theme park city with world-class intelligent park rides to welcome tourists from all over the world.

          Sony Pictures chooses Thailand as the first investment in theme parks because of the potential of Thailand, and Pattaya, which is a well-known tourist city around the world. In addition, various infrastructure developments facilitate attracting tourists from all over the world to travel more conveniently.

           The "Columbia Pictures Aquaverse" Phase 1 project has been launched on October 12, 2022. The area is filled with state-of-the-art both in water and on land rides, bringing your favorite characters from popular movies that have won the hearts of moviegoers around the world, such as Ghostbusters. Extermination Company, Jumanji: welcome to the jungle, Bad Boys, Zombie land, Emoji Apptist, Surf's Up, and Hotel Transylvania, join together as a theme to create fun for tourists. There is also a giant wave pool that l have a music performance stage, large LED movie screens, and a concert-quality Dolby DTS surround sound system.

          Phase 2 of the project will launch with a theme park in an adjacent area called “Wonderverse” which is expected to be launched in 2024. 

         The project is expected to contribute to job creation and economic recovery after the COVID-19 pandemic and will make the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) and Thailand will be a dream destination for family travelers from tourists in the country and from all over the world, expected that at least 1 million more tourists will travel to Thailand, creating economic value of more than 10,000 million baht, creating employment and generating direct income for at least 1,000 Thai peoples.

          Sony Pictures will promote the project through offices in 80 countries around the world, while the Thai government is ready to continue to support investment in Thailand. Including facilitating businessmen and investors to more convenient traveling into the country.
