Green industry requirements

        Green industries are industries that adhere to continuous improvement of production processes and environmental management for environmentally friendly operations, as well as adhering to business operations with social responsibility both internally and externally within the organization as well as the supply chain for long-term development.

        As a result, the Ministry of Industry developed the “Green Industry” requirements to encourage and drive entrepreneurs to continuously develop and improve in order to enter the green industry sector, which is divided into five levels:

Level 1 – Green Commitment:  Have an environmental policy and disseminate communications;

Level 2 – Green Activity: Formulate policies, formulate plans, and implement plans to achieve effectiveness;

 Level 3 – Green System: Environmental policy, planning, implementation, monitoring, processing, reviewing and maintaining the system;

Level 4 – Green Culture: Comply with the requirements in Level 3, create environmental innovations, report environmental performance to the public;

Level 5 – Green Network: Comply with the requirements in Level 4. Build relationships covering the entire supply chain, prepare reports, and disseminate environmental messages.
