Thailand’s circular economy development goals (3C)

          The circular economy, an element of the Bio-Circular-Green economic model, or BCG, is an important economic model that allows humans to live in balance with the world and have resources for long-lasting use. The key goal of the development of the circular economy in BCG in Action is to create change, known as 3Cs, consisting of the following actions:

          C1: Closing the Loop. Reduce the use of resources in economic development by two-thirds of the current energy consumption through resource cycling for maximum benefit;

          C2: Creating New Economic Growth. Create new economic growth, increase GDP by no less than 200 billion baht or 1% of GDP;

          C3: Combating Climate Change. Transition to a Sustainable Society. Reduce greenhouse gas emissions by at least 50 million tons of carbon dioxide and move toward an environmentally friendly society.
