COVID-19 vaccination point for foreign tourists

Although COVID-19 has been downgraded to a communicable illness, vaccination vigilance is still required, though it is not mandatory. Aside from Thai citizens, who are entitled to free vaccination, foreign tourists and foreign workers have concerns about where they can get vaccinated.

The Centers for Disease Control opened the Bang Rak Medical Center in the Sathorn District of Bangkok to provide COVID-19 vaccinations and COVID-19 testing to the general public and foreigners. The COVID-19 vaccination service point will be located on the ninth floor, and Thai citizens will be able to come in and receive free vaccinations.

For short-term visitors to Thailand, such as tourists, the Pfizer vaccination service costs 1,000 baht, whereas the AstraZeneca vaccine costs 800 baht. The vaccination fee is 380 baht. You can access the service every day during office hours. For more information, please contact +66 2286 2468.

Furthermore, the Bang Rak Clinic on the 11th level provides a COVID-19 screening service, with real-time PCR testing for 900 baht and ATK (Antigen test kit) for 150 baht, both of which are certified by the Department of Medical Sciences.

The Department of Disease Control can use the BTS service to Surasak Station (near St. Louis Hospital) or bus number 17, 77, or 149 to get to the Bang Rak Medical Center facility. For more information, visit the Bangrak Health Center Facebook page or call the Department of Disease Control hotline 1422.

In addition, Bangkok residents can find information on vaccination programs on the websites of the Bangkok Health Department and the Ministry of Public Health.

As for those in other provinces, they can check the vaccination point and service date on the provincial public health office’s website, which also contains information on the qualifications of vaccinated individuals, vaccination point locations, types of vaccines to be administered, and how to register for vaccination services.
