     “Travel 365 Wonderful Days in Thailand”

     Tourism has been disrupted throughout the globe as a result of the COVID-19 epidemic, including Thailand. The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) began moving forward in 2022 to revitalize the entire Thai tourism industry by emphasizing domestic or Thai market promotion. In 2022, 189 million Thai tourists traveled domestically, which is considered a better-than-expected result and reflects the positive signs of the recovery of Thai tourism, in which domestic tourists are the primary mechanism for economic recovery with intensive tourism and has significant implications for the overall growth rate.

     For 2023, TAT has organized the project “Travel 365 Wonderful Days in Thailand” under the main concept “Travel every day of the year for a miracle” to stimulate the domestic market. The project period is from January to September 2023, in collaboration with the Lazada shopping platform, bringing innovation to help stimulate tourism, opening opportunities for tourism business operators to offer sales of tourism products and services, offering special discounts to tourists, and organizing a sub-campaign to stimulate domestic travel throughout the year, which will help to restore domestic tourists’ confidence as soon as possible. It also benefits tourism business operators in the domestic market, such as hotels, lodging, tourist attractions, restaurants, spas, and many others, by providing an incentive to increase the frequency of travel and generate income from tourism, based on a balance of socioeconomic and environmental factors.

     TAT has also created a “365 Wonder Calendar” that includes festivals, activities, traditions, and travel programs, as well as activities to encourage travel, communication through various channels, and joint promotion marketing activities to encourage domestic travel throughout the Tourism in Thailand 2023 campaign:

  • The campaign “Amazing Thailand, Gorgeous like Shouting” will begin operations in February 2023. Simply record a video clip shouting the project name “Travel 365 Wonderful Days in Thailand” and drag the sound as long as you can in your own manner, to be eligible to win accommodation vouchers, travel gadgets, and souvenirs;
  • The “Wonder Deal” campaign at the end of each month is like a new beginning. Activities begin in March-August 2023 by shifting the end of the month to begin arranging a new trip for the following month. TAT will offer a special promotion to the LAZADA platform to promote;
  • The campaign “CODE Secret 365 Bring Friends to Travel” running from March to June 2023. Gather three friends and book a great travel deal in five provinces within six weeks. Then, in the form of “The Gang’s Edition,” create content to promote tourism that promotes travel experiences from different perspectives. Those chosen as “People’s Favorite” will receive a reward of 365,365 baht.


     The heart of “Travel 365 Wonderful Days in Thailand” is the beginning of a new adventure that is brighter and more amazing than ever, communicating through routes and forms of travel in a new and more fascinating dimension. This makes traveling in 2023 a uniquely diverse joy because there are many seasons, festivals, and a million modes of living throughout the year. Each journey has its own set of tales and experiences. For all these reasons and more, I’d like to encourage Thai people to visit Thailand and start a new chapter of travel legends that will be impressive and worth telling.
