Procedures for exportation of pets at the Customs Office at Suvarnabhumi Airport

 For pet customs clearance at Suvarnabhumi Airport Customs Office, the exporters must proceed following these steps:

1. Apply for the animal export permit Sor.Por.5 or Sor.Por.6 (depending on the types of the exported wild animals) and the Export Permit for Animals or Carcass (Form Ror.9) and a health certificate. (The animal health certificate is subject to the requirements of the destination country. The exporters must bring the certification conditions to discuss with the veterinarian, from the Department of Livestock, so that the officials may assist in the examination of animal diseases, animal farms, and others according to the conditions specified correctly.)
2. Contact the airline to complete the reservation, depending on the preferred airline of the exporters.

3. Register for the e-Customs system at any customs offices throughout the country. Registration at Suvarnabhumi Airport Free Zone may be done at the General Administration Department, 2nd Floor, Suvarnabhumi Airport Cargo Clearance Customs Office Building (BC-1) (Tel. 0 2134 1232).

4. Submit export declaration data through one of the four channels:

4.1 The exporters submit export declaration form in person:

 4.2 The exporters authorize a Customs Broker to submit the export declaration form;
 4.3 The exporters proceed to the Counter Services at Mezzanine Floor, Food Court, Building BC - 2 & P2, and at Building AO 1-4 to submit the export declaration form and invoice information;

 4.4 The exporters use the service to send information by the customs official at the Customs Service Division 2.1 Customs Service Section 2, CE Building, 1st Floor, where the exporter submits the details of the declaration information with ID card or passport and pays the fee to the customs officer.

5. The exporters or their agents go through customs clearance by presenting the Cargo Permit, Form Ror.9 (and/or CITES permits, depending on the types of wild animals) and the health certificate to customs officials. Then, the customs officials check the documents and take the following steps:

 5. 1 For Green Line: The official signs and stamps the cargo permit;

 5. 2 For Red Line: The system assigns the name of a customs official to inspect the goods in accordance with customs regulations and laws. When the goods have been checked, the official will sign and stamp the cargo permit.

          Once the above process has been completed, the customs official will return the invoice to the exporters or their agent, so that they may bring the animals to the warehouse and proceed with weighing for shipment.
