Thailand promotes 10 markets and 6 floating markets as cultural tourist attractions

Thailand's Ministry of Culture is promoting 10 markets and six floating markets that are being developed as tourist attractions and part of the heritage of beautiful Thai culture.
Promoting them will create awareness of identity and traditions that lead to cultural tourism routes.
Also, they support Thailand's Soft Power policy, which attracts all levels of tourists from all parts of the world.

The 10 markets are the following:
1. Hua Takhe Old Market, Bangkok;
2. Khlong Bang Luang Market, Bangkok;
3. Chak Ngaew Chinese Market, Chonburi;
4. Wat Sri Suphan Community Cultural Market, Chiang Mai;
5. Kad Khuang Walking Street, Nan;
6. Su Suek street Market, Prachuap Khiri Khan;
7. Chiang Khan Market, Loei;
8. Khlong Dan Riverside Market, Songkhla;
9. Trok Rong Ya Market, Uthai Thani;
10. Khemarat Thani Market, Ubon Ratchathani.

And here are the six floating markets:
1. Krung Kao Floating Market, Wat Tha Karong, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya;
2. Guangzhou Forest Floating Market, Phetchaburi;
3. Lao Tak Lak Floating Market, Ratchaburi;
4. Khlong Hae Floating Market, Songkhla;
5. Bang Nam Phueng Floating Market, Samut Prakan;
6. Amphawa Floating Market, Samut Songkhram.
