Witness the Grand Rehearsal of the “Royal Barge Procession,” a Unique Beauty on the Chao Phraya River

The Royal Thai Navy invites the public to witness the grand rehearsal (with full dress) of the Royal Barge Procession, in preparation for the royal ceremony where His Majesty the King will proceed to offer the Royal Kathin robes by the Royal Barge Procession in honor of His Majesty King Vajiralongkorn on the auspicious occasion of his 72nd birthday on July 28, 2024. The schedule is as follows:

1st Rehearsal: October 15, 2024, at 3:00 PM

2nd Rehearsal: October 22, 2024, at 3:00 PM

Those interested can watch the rowers' practice and the exquisite beauty of the royal barges, a one-of-a-kind spectacle in the world, along both sides of the Chao Phraya River, from the Rama VIII Bridge to Wat Arun Ratchawararam Ratchaworamahawihan.
