Strengthening Thai-Chinese relations through a historic ice hockey competition on the occasion of the 6th cycle birthday anniversary and the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China.

His Majesty the King will attend the ice hockey competition at the Thailand International Ice Hockey Arena in Huai Khwang, Bangkok, on October 6, 2024.This event symbolizes the friendship between Thailand and China.

The competition holds profound significance as it coincides with His Majesty's 6th cycle birthday anniversary, which falls on July 28, 2024, and the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, reflecting the long-standing and stable relationship between the two countries.

Additionally, Her Majesty the Queen has been granted royal permission to compete under the Thai national team, making this event even more memorable due to her royal engagement in promoting unity in ice hockey.

The International Ice Hockey Federation has also honored Her Majesty as an ambassador for women's team ice hockey globally, reflecting a commitment to developing ice hockey in Thailand and enhancing the country's reputation. 

Beyond being an enjoyable sports event, it serves as an opportunity to strengthen the ties between Thailand and China and celebrate the achievements in sports and culture between the two proud nations!
